All students must be at least eighteen (18) years of age on or before the first day of class and have earned a High School Diploma or a General Education Development Certificate (GED). A copy of the original High School Diploma or a General Education Development Certificate (G.E.D) must be submitted with the admission application.
North America Technical Institute ESL (NATI ESL) admissions process begins with a personal interview and tour of facility led by the Admissions or Academic staff. During the personal interview, the Academic staff will assess ESL skill levels in addition to assessing applicant’s educational and career goals. During the student’s interview process, the school’s admissions representative will obtain this information, particularly, the student’s knowledge and prior professional and learning experience using a computer and/or require the student to take a formal English assessment. All new students are required to attend a formal student orientation on a specific date and time. Prospective students will also have the opportunity to request further enrollment information.
The same procedure above applies to a distance learning/online student, but virtually.
Students who took a standardized English examination, such as IELTS, TOEFL, and Pearson, are exempted from taking the placement assessment.
For more information, contact an admissions officer and/or a student adviser.
