Entering the United States
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
- At a primary inspection booth, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer will ask you questions to verify your documentation and examine your luggage.
Reporting to NATI ESL:
- Contact your DSO immediately upon arrival to the United States
- Report to NATI ESL as listed on the SEVIS Form I-20 no later than your program start date.
- You must update your US Address and Phone number to DSO immediately.
Meeting with your DSO before orientation:
This meeting must take place within 30 days of your program start date, and prior to registering or attending any classes. At this time, the student must present the I-20 form, Passport, Visa and Proof of Insurance. All questions regarding course load, or work-study jobs must be directed to the DSO.
Completing orientation activities:
You should plan to arrive on campus by the 1st day of Orientation. This date or your orientation is in your acceptance letter.
